Comfort Shawl Swap and Sign Up For those suffering from Fribromyalgia

Hi there to all my friends:

While over at the crochetville forum we have discovered that there are a number of us suffering from Fibromyalgia and well we have decided that one thing we can do to help keep our minds off our pains and to support each other is to do a swap for a comfort shawl in color preference of choice of your partner.

The official colors for fibromyalgia awareness is:
Purple or Purple with pink or to distinguish the Fybromyalgia it is also Cranberry with pink. I was told that the Cranberry color represents Chronic Pain and the Pink is for Women so Cranberry and Pink is for Women in Chronic Pain.
Thank you Red Rose for the info....

This being said if you are a sufferer of this Fibromyalgia and want to participate in with the swap please email me privately with your information and color preference for your comfort shawl.
Let me know if you are allergic to any kinds of yarns or what yarn you would prefer for your shawl and I will contact you back with a partner info who you too will make her or him a comfort shawl.
Pattern will be of your choice for your partner.

Any questions email me at:
moomooo@frontiernet.net

I will be making a awareness pin for each that sign up and complete the swap with their partner. Photo will follow later on.

Pins will also be available for sale soon in case you have a friend that also has fibromyalgia.
So God bless us all
Gentle hugs
Lillibet

I love that you are having a Fibro swap. I do not live with Fibromyalgia, but do know a few that do. Best of luck.

What a great idea! A friend of mine has Fibromyalgia (and probably other things, but that's the main thing). I would love to see the pins when you're done.
